Description
A Pagan Sol geometric art sheet set original of a Pompeian geometric pattern in a geometric sequence. Inspiration of geometric design comes from a wall mosaic in the twelfth century cathedral of Monreale in Sicily. The pink, green, black geometric shapes in the bed sheets were believed to have been made of glass paste, while the white would have been made of marble.

Pompeii was an ancient Roman town-city near modern Naples, in the Campania region of Italy, in the territory of the commune of Pompei. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, was mostly destroyed and buried under 4 to of volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.
